20L Jacketed Glass Reactor with PTFE and Ultrasonic Agitator Shipped to the UK

Customized 20L jacketed glass reactor with PTFE stirrer and ultrasonic agitator, vacuum pump and circulating heater, supplied to a UK customer.

20L Jacketed Glass Reactor with PTFE and Ultrasonic Agitator Shipped to the UK

For a UK customer looking for enhanced mixing performance for a specialized reaction process, Valuen Industrial supplied a customized 20L jacketed glass reactor equipped with both a conventional PTFE stirrer and an ultrasonic agitator.

The combination of mechanical stirring and ultrasonic agitation was designed according to the customer's specific process requirements. The PTFE stirrer provides stable and reliable mechanical mixing for conventional reaction processes, while the ultrasonic agitator provides additional mixing and dispersion capability for materials that may be challenging to process with mechanical stirring alone.

Customized 20L Jacketed Glass Reactor for Enhanced Mixing

The 20L jacketed glass reactor is suitable for laboratory-scale and pilot-scale research where precise temperature control, efficient mixing, and visual observation of the reaction process are required.

For this project, the reactor was customized with two complementary stirring methods:

This configuration allows the customer to select the appropriate stirring method according to different experimental and process conditions.

PTFE Stirring Combined with Ultrasonic Agitation

Conventional mechanical stirring is widely used for liquid mixing and routine chemical reactions. However, some processes involving fine powders, solid-liquid systems, difficult-to-disperse materials, extraction, or enhanced mass transfer may benefit from additional ultrasonic agitation.

In this customized reactor system, the ultrasonic agitator works as an additional mixing technology alongside the PTFE stirrer. This combined approach can help improve material dispersion and promote more uniform mixing in applications where conventional mechanical agitation may not provide the desired performance.

The flexible configuration makes the reactor suitable for a variety of laboratory and process development applications, including material dispersion, extraction, solid-liquid mixing, and chemical reaction development.

Vacuum and Temperature Control

To support different process conditions, the system is also equipped with a vacuum pump and circulating heater.

The vacuum pump can be used for vacuum operation and degassing, while the circulating heater supplies controlled heating through the reactor jacket. Together, these auxiliary systems allow the operator to maintain more stable process conditions during laboratory testing and development work.

By integrating the 20L jacketed glass reactor, PTFE stirring system, ultrasonic agitator, vacuum pump, and circulating heater into one customized solution, Valuen Industrial provided the customer with a flexible reactor system tailored to the specific application.

Customized Laboratory Reactor Solution from Valuen Industrial

This project demonstrates our approach to customized laboratory reactor systems. Rather than providing a standard configuration, we first identify the customer's process requirements and then select the appropriate stirring, temperature-control, and vacuum components.

Valuen Industrial supplies jacketed glass reactors and customized laboratory and pilot-scale reaction equipment for chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, extraction, and research applications.

If you are looking for a 20L jacketed glass reactor with an ultrasonic agitator, or need a customized reactor system with mechanical stirring, vacuum, heating, or other process equipment, please contact us at [email protected]. Our technical and sales team will be happy to discuss your application and recommend a suitable configuration.
